Hello
I have a 505 and got it with new floor etc but now looks like they used cheap wood and covered it!
So it needs a new floor, ramp and one side wall!
I have a few options
1. Sell as is and use money from that and what repairs would cost to get a new one?
2. Do up with wood and sell then get a new trailer or run it till floor needs replacing again?
3. Do it up cheaper option with buffalo board flooring and ramp and keep.
4. Do it up with Ali floor and better parts.

Or do I find a rich man and have a nice lorry with built in hot tub for easing my ageing bones ????

Can you afford to sell it as it is and buy a newer/better one? ETA I’d price my well maintained, owned-from-new 15yo 510 Classic at £3k-ish. It’s sound as a pound.

Yours must be a fair age, as the wooden floors were superseded by aluminium floors a long while ago.

How much would option 4 set you back?

The 505 is quite serviceable and if you can find someone local that can sort it out and give it a full service at a price that you are happy to spend on it then you know what you have got and hopefully it will just then require an annual service.

it would depend if the metal work underneath the floor needed replacing. . It would make a good cheap project for someone who can replace both the metalwork and the floor with no labour costs. If you have to pay for someone to do this it could get expensive.

If you decide to keep it and have a new floor put in I would get an assessment of the towing hitch, chassis, side walls and the metal work on the ramp before doing so otherwise you may end up with a large bill
