Hi, I'm wanting some advice about horse trailer and horsebox driving tests. Can anyone tell me the name of the test I will need to do to be able to drive over 3.5ton? And can anyone recommend a company to take lessons with? Any experiences anyone can can share with me about both types of tests would be much appreciated...I'm currently trying to decide which route to go down...trailer or lorry!! Thanks in advance x

LGV C1 for rigids 3.5 to 7.5 tonnes GVW
LGV C for rigids 3.5 to no upper limit
B+E for towing trailers with vehicles under 3.5 tonnes GVW where the GVW of the vehicle and the plated MAM of the trailer adds up to more than 3500 kg

B for vehicles under 3.5 tonnes GVW and for towing of trailers where the vehicle GVW added to the trailer plated MAM does not add up to more than 3500 kg - many tow a single horse on this licence with the right vehicle and trailer

LGV training + test - see the LGV CLINIC link in my signature below
B+E - see posts 999 and 1000 in the TOWING CLINIC link in my signature below
