I asked this when I bought mine and quite a few people were suggesting Anthony Evans http://www.anthonydevans.co.uk/ - will go look out the post for you. I paid a one off payment as it was way more to do it monthly, it was about £120.
I'm guessing you are now the proud owner of an IW510?!
add it on to your NFU policy if you have one - even better if you have an NFU smallholder policy - or a car policy. costs me about £100 a year. also check your car breakdown cover as you will need to get that amened to cover you when towing a trailer with a horse on board. I believe the standard policies will take a trailer but not a horse - bit of a bugger then to get Sky home!
Absolutely! And congrats! I would definitely insure it for whatever you paid for it. They hold their value very well and are desirable as a steal. Make sure you put a wheel clamp on it when it's not being used or it will make your insurance invalid (depending on who it is but this is par for the course) also when it is standing for any period of time, like a week, month etc don't use the handbrake, use blocks in the wheels. The brakes are prone to seizing when left.
You can get a cheap clamp that will do the job for about £35 in Motorworld. They aren't that difficult to use either.
Also when I tried to get cover with NFU they refused unless I took out more than one policy with them. If Sky is with them you might be fine but I couldn't get cover with them and this Anthony Evans guy comes very well recommended.
I also have just brought a new ifor williams trailer TODAY...
got my insurance with petplan (like my horse) cost me £107.
my trailer also came with an all over protective cover but they can not insurance that
just looking for road side recovery now, found a few... "more money"... what colour did you get!!! oh yer, phone ifor williams to reg it, and data tag also. data tag will send you a form to fill in, but you can still reg with them.
