They are currently sorting this out as I refused to pay over £2k a year to insure it!!!!!!!!!!!

the cover thay have offered me is fire and theft and accidental damage. no cover if i need any road side assistance with horses or trailer.

My friend having trouble with one insurance company. Ask arround for reccomendation of insurance companies as its no point in having it insured if the company think of lots of reasons why they shall not pay out....

I added my trailer onto my horses NFU policy - insured for £2000 - cost was £80 per year. Bargain! Although the cost for both per year is around £370 and horse is insured for less than trailer!

my horses are with nfu and they have quoted £174 my trailer is brand new valued at £3500 + vat (am not vat registered)but they don't take the vat into account which i find strange because if anything happens and you claim, when you replace it with a new one you pay the vat again and need to be vat registered to claim it back. always had horsebox covered and never made a claim in over 5years.

there are cheaper insurances cover out there, for same cover, my suggestion is to phone a couple esp one out of back of H&H and i promise you'll get it cheaper (and it's not the doggy company)
I get annoyed when insurance company take pee................

i phoned one company and because it is not kept in a barn or building they said it was high risk. even though it is hidden away on a farm
