Trailer Insurance

I'm just shopping around for trailer insurance. E & L have given a good quote, are they still one to avoid in your experience?

Does anyone have a recommendation of a company to try?

If you have horse insurance try adding it to that.

The company I use are quite expensive for the trailer - good for the horse but trailer was on the high side.

I added mine on to my horse ins with petplan and it was about £20 a month extra.

E & L have a rubbish reputation. I wouldn't insure with them again. I added mine to my horses policy with SCottish equestrian for an additional £6 a month

My cheapest quotes were from KBIS and SEIB.

Both much cheaper than adding to my Petplan horse insurance

I added my trailer onto my horse insurance with SEIB. They are really reasonable and have a good reputation, i have never had a problem with them and it was very easy to add the trailer on my policy with no fuss.

We insure our vehicles with NFU, and our trailer was about £50 - 60 a year I think as an add-on to the motor policy we have - try your motor insurers
