Hey all,
Some of you may remember me posting about my trailer 'jolting' and stalling' on the tow bar at the back of my freelander.
Well, we started with the obvious first and got the farmer who owns our yard to really throughly grease the hitch up. we recently had the trailer serviced by richardson so other than that we really didnt have a clue as to what else we could do.
after speaking to the farmer who has towed all his life he told me to try and keep the revs up slightly more too and see if it made a difference and it certainly has! Took george for a lesson today and the only bumping we had was on our track out the yard which is horrible anyway and the rest of it was lovely and smooth. Not entirely sure how driving round at 3 revs is going to affect my car but t certainly made an improvement on the ride he had!
