Trailer Loading Advice

Hi,

I'm teaching pony to load into a trailer. She goes in without hesitation.

She is really flighty with things behind her and jumps around as the ramp is put up so whats the best way of getting her used to this?

I would have some at the front distracting her with a bucket
till the ramp is up, then out the grooms door

Just keep doing it, set aside a day for trailer loading ..load, put up the ramp, make a fuss/give her a treat, unload...repeat...and again...and again...and again

Then put her in her stable for a break, get her out and do it again, and again, and again, and again

I promise, by the end of the day you could set off firecrackers behind her and she won't notice, it is just a question of desensitising her
