Looking for some options please... Am looking to buy a trailer and looking for opinions on which trailer offers the best suspension/ ride?

My horse isn't the best of travellers and I don't wanna give him any excuses!!

Looking between the usual Wessex, Richardson , ifor 505 - someone one my yard with a Wessex claims these have the best suspension superior to the others??

If anyone has any good or bad advice/ comments about any of these trailers it be gratefully received

Many thanks

I've got an IW510 (well, when I say got, I am actually in the process of selling it in order to fund a 4x4 - yes, backwards I know..long story). I cannot recommend them enough. It's a beautiful trailer, sturdy, quality and my nervous mare travels extremely well in it. They also retain their value very well compared to the other trailers.

I have a Cheval Liberte, so far have found it amazing to pull. Really light and airy and the option for letting the horse step up rather than use the ramp seems a great idea for ramp spooky horse. :)
Its a new model so no floor or wall ossues

cheval have the pullman suspension which is the best. I have a very tricky traveller, scrambles and once fell but has been amazing since getting a cheval

Our bateson Ascot is incredible, to test it I sat in the back whilst someone towed it across a rutted field and it was very smooth. Seems to have lots of benefits like tack lockers and unloads on the left. Our baby had trouble in an ifor on the way but in our Ascot stood beautifully.

Ifor williams suspension is solid but from the dark ages!
Bateson for me .

New or second hand as obviously some drop out of the list for new.

Ifor williams are known for having terrible suspension plus the ramp unloads on the road side so overall I was put off by this. I have a very bad traveller so I went for an Bateson as the suspension is much better. I also found that the fixtures and fittings are far better than on the Ifor (I owned to IW previously) and the general layout is far better thought out. I think people just tend to go for Ifor Williams because *everyone* has them!

I'm selling a really good, cheap 4x4

This for me as well. I got a 2006 in Oct last year and it tows almost silently. No rattles or bumps. Really lovely trailer.
