Trailer mud guard repair

Hello

Stupidly caught the plastic mudguard of trailer on a wall and cracked it along with the sidelight. Does anyone have experience of whether the plastic can be replaced or is it a case of replacing the whole unit, which is bonded, not screwed to the trailer side panels?

Thanks in advance. I can’t believe I did this… I’m normally so careful.

I mended mine myself with flashing tape. It's not pretty but it works. I partly tore mine off one of its brackets as well as a long split. IClean it well then tape both inside and outside - good as new if you're not worried about the cosmetics.

You can get bumper repair kits for cars… bet one of those would do the trick?

Tape and/or cable ties as a temporary repair, then fibreglass with hardener over the top to make it permanent an a bit prettier.

If newer I would speak to manufacturer or local dealer to get a replacement. Have just have to purchase one for my Nugent trailer.
