Hello - has anyone done their trailer test around milton keynes/bucks area? Can you recommend anyone? Not sure whether to go for intensive course or weekly lessons - have no experience with trailers and just got an old 4x4! Before that all i drove was a tiny peugeot!

:)

This company do lots of driver training for horsey people but are over in Banbury (M40) and test near Oxford - http://www.jldlgv.co.uk/trailertowing.php
If you do call them then ask for big Dave and say ROG says Hi

You already have a B+E provisional on the paper part of your licence so do you have access to someone who has a trailer and is willing to let you drive?

It would require this -
Supervising driver to be age 21+ and have 3+ years with B+E licence
L plates on front of vehciel and rear of trailer
Correct insurance for a B+E learner

Perhaps some private reversing practice if the above is not an option with someone who has a trailer - IDEA?

I used MK Towing and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. I did two full days training and then the test and passed first time.
