The DSA B+E Test will cost you £105. The Test takes 90 minutes. You will require 2 days training minimum and you can take the test once you have your full category B licence :ie 17 years old.

the test as said above is £105 pounds.

I had previously towed a small trailer for a fair while so was fairly confident with it. took me 2 hours training before the test so including the time i paid for to hire the car and trailer off the instructor it was 4 hours total time.

Remember you can tow a trailer with L plates if you have a person with the relavent license next to you( I think. You'll need to check with the DVLA)

If i'm honest if you can reverse relatively well then the test is a doddle. your driving is not tested it's you ability to drive with a trailer that is.

Nationally the pass rate for this test is less than 43% according to the lastest figures quoted at a DSA consultation event I went to on Tuesday. Get professional advise from a DSA Approved Grade 6 Instructor, it will be cheaper in the long run. Good Luck.
