Trailer Tow Bar Height?

With a tricky loader, I am trying to address anything/everything that might be an excuse for him not to load. I have removed everything that rattles, given him a nice soft cushion for his bum and am now looking at the tow bar height. I suspect the trailer is not level once it is hitched up, so I am going to adjust the truck accordingly but which way do I go. Trailer running 'uphill' ( I think this is how it is atm) Trailer pointing downhill? ( doesn't seem right) or trailer level,. I have probably answered my own question, but am interested in peoples opinions.

Some advice here, albeit aimed at Ifor Williams trailers.

What height should my towing hitch be on my towing vehicle?
The correct hitch height of the towing vehicle is critical when towing a trailer. The correct hitch height should leave your trailer level when hitched on. If the hitch height is not correct this can cause your trailer to sway which can lead to loss of control of your vehicle and trailer. Usually swaying will occur when you exceed 40 / 50kph. Another effect of towing your trailer at the incorrect hitch height is uneven tyre wear. If the trailer is not level, the front or rear tyres may wear excessively due to loads not being evenly dispersed. For most Ifor Williams trailers the correct hitch height should be between 485mm (19”) and 535mm (21”) depending on the trailer and the type of wheel equipment fitted.

Plus more advice here. I have a choice of two tow bar heights on my Shogun, the top height is the correct one for my Ifor 510.
