Trailer type

Never had a trailer before and looking for a lightweight one as my 4x4 can only tow 2000kg. Been looking at Cheval Liberte and Bateson. Any advice or views would be gratefully received.

I can't compare the two, but I've had a Bateson for 4 years and not had any problems with it. It's over 11 years old now but you wouldn't know

both are great trailers, you possibly get a bit more for your money with the Cheval Liberte, though

I used to have a Rice Eurpoa. They are fairly lightweight as i think they are the smaller model and although an older style trailer they are reasonably cheap, readily for sale but reliable and we never had any problems with ours

is it only one horse you will towing? If so get a single ifor trailer - very spacious and they are 770kg - my freelander tows it lovely.
