Trailer Tyre Pressures

I have an old horse trailer, not sure of the make, but it looks a bit like, but isn't, a Rice Beaufort (just so you get the idea).
What sort of pressure should my tyres be at??
I want to go check them next week but don't know what they should be.

There will be a pressure written on the sidewall of the tyres .

There may be a case for a different pressure but if you don't have the manual that came with the trailer you had best stick with the recommended tyre pressure.

Please be careful of this.
The pressure rating on the sidewall of the tyre is the maximum pressure loading for the tyre, not the working pressure for your loaded trailer.
There should be a plate on the trailer giving the load capacity etc, together with the manufacturer's name. It would be well worth following up to get their recommendation as pressure impacts on road holding and incorrect pressures are dangerous. Too high will make the trailer bouncy, too low and it will wallow around and could even lead to a blowout.
The correct pressure depends on the type of tyre, axle loading and speed. To work this out correctly, you need to know the weight of the trailer and load, then divide by the number of axles to see the axle loading. There's information on the website of National Trailer and Towing Association

I agree with above, the maximum on the wall of the tyre is usually much higher than the trailer manufacturer would recommend for normal usage. My trailer tyre pressures are meant to be 3.1 Bar or 46 PSI (my tyre size is something to do with 16 if that makes any sense) but I'm sure pressures are variable between trailer makes/sizes. Best to find out for sure from trailer manufacturer or trailer servicer or retailer.
