I have put my trailer into a local auction and am umming and arring over what reserve to put on it.

It is approx 20 years old, Richardson, double wooden floor and walls will steel roof. All sound and in good condition. Rear unload, double trailer but no partition. Been regularly serviced and stored inside.

Don't need to sell just thought it was pointless having it sit in the barn unused so thought I'd give the auction a go. Was thinking of a £450 reserve - does that sound fair?

Can't post pics as trailer already at auction hall and didn't think to take any before it went!!

All opinions gratefully received.

Sounds about right to me, we looked for a while and found those rice rear unloads (eventer? I think) never went for more than £600 odd on eBay. Even in super condition. Average was about 450-500 for something in a usable state.

I think the rear unload puts people off, suits me as coblet backs off no probs.

It is the start of the show season though so you never know.
