Trailer Weights

I have a Bayhill Sportsman Horse trailer, not to sure of its weight and was just wondering if anyone knows what will be save to pull it. We have a new forest pony which weighs between 300 and 400 kg. We are looking at a Rav4 and a freelander. Would these be any good?

In my opinion none of these cars are proper towing vehicles but with the size of your pony I reckon you would get away with the Freelander but only to tow one horse. I wouldnt use a Rav. Theres been a lot of posts on Freelanders, try searching them, you will get more info on them.
