God only knows why, as I'm sure it would just ping off with a screwdriver and a hammer!! So, I just have a cheap wheel clamp. Keep the receipt and photo's of it on my trailer in with my insurance details! I then have a proper Bulldog full hitch lock thingy on it for more security.
