Thinking of swapping from a horsebox to a trailer and wonder which ones people prefer these days? Need a large one and have heard some negative comments about the new HB11 Ifor Williams, which we were considering. Have heard some good comments about Bateson and Wessex and wondered what makes people recommend for 2 big horses?

My friend had a big problem with her horse climbing over the bar and kicking its way out the back of an Equitrek which has rather put me off them! Considering the Bateson.

I bought a Bateson Deauville at the weekend and it's WONDERFUL! Lovely to tow and gives the horses a good ride as it has independant suspension. You can get 2 x 17hh in there.

It's few hundred poounds more than the Ifor Williams but well worth it

I have just bought a secondhand Ifor Williams 510 after my horse grew out of the 505. I had a look at the new ones but they did not look all that. Very plastic and nowhere near as well made as the older 510 its a lovely trailer to tow and hold their value.
