I’m thinking of upgrading my 511 to something with a bit more space for humans and ‘stuff’. At the moment if I take the dogs when my daughter’s competing then it means saddles etc on the back seat with dogs in the boot and if we take two horses then there’s nowhere to get changed etc. I don’t want an equi trek as one of the horses hates travelling backwards (is fine forwards/herringbone/sideways) and they also don’t have the best reputation for build quality. I also don’t want a lorry as I bought the car specifically for towing and I couldn’t afford to get a lorry that was anything like as nice to drive …. What would people recommend?

I have a cheval liberte minimax, now called a maxi 3, and there's also a maxi 2. There's plenty of room in the tack room for loads of stuff and to get changed. Horses travel herringbone and the partitions adjust if one horse needs more space.

Another with the cheval Liberte. Love it and I love my tack bit so don’t have to put much in the car.
They have just bought out a new one with unfitted living so will be having a look at that at Badminton. I hate the ifor Eventa and Equitrek so been wanting something with living for ages.

Yep we have a cheval liberte tourer with tack room, they are fab trailers!! The new XL takes bigger horses, we have the regular one that takes 2 under about 16.2...the tack room feature is fab, takes 2 saddles, 2 bridles and has a handy tray for bits and bobs, I can also get a water carrier, buckets and skip (pooper scooper) in there.
