if you have a trailer with wheel trims on - eg ifor williams classic, do you put a clamp on the wheel? if so how, with the trims on? Also, as these trailers have lockable hitches do you also put on a hitch lock?

many thanks in advance

I've got the Ifor Williams Classic that does have wheel trims. The wheel clamp goes on fine, it is a bit of a tight fit but the foam on the back of the clamp protects the hub cap. We use a hitch lock as well. Both of them are BullDogs

I took the wheel trim off the wheel I wanted to put the wheel clamp on and also use the lockable hitch lock and have a bulldog hitch lock over the top of that. The thieves find it all too easy to steal trailers, so the more security on it the better. Also, if your trailer is insured, it often says it must have at least 2 forms of security on it for it to be covered - might be worth checking your policy.

yes, use both as extra deterrant..

and dont put the Bulldog clamp on the front axle as the thief will just jack up the trailer and tow it on the rear axle

mine is on the back wheel but that something that never crossed my mind!!

We have a hitch lock and 2 wheel locks on diagonal wheels, our theory being at least it makes ours less attractive than the unlocked ones parked near it.
