I have a fabulous friend who also teaches me but firstly she is about to have her second baby (any moment now!!) so not much time at the moment, and secondly our school is not usable for much of the time at the moment due to the weather.

I'd love to find someone i could go to in the evenings during the week - either with an indoor or with lights good enough to jump under. I wouldn't mind different people for jumping and/or flatwork - i don't think i've schooled (except on hacks) for about 3 weeks now! Really feel like my riding is suffering from not enough lessons at the moment.

B is in sussex, near kent border if anyone has any ideas or recommendations i'd be very grateful!!!

I go to Sally Andrews for dressage lessons. She is a dressage judge as well and is truly brilliant. She is in gatwick. Don't know whether that is useful! Had thought about organising clinics at mine. As I have 2 for lessons and she will travel.

Judi Piper is meant to be very good for jumping lessons.

Will continue to think......

Judi is super and i've been to her lots but she doesnt really do evenings. I need to fit in lessons during the week as weekends are just so tricky once eventing starts.

Gatwick is too far for evenings but i'd be interested in clinics closer

Anna isn't too far - not sure on her facilities though and if she does evenings. Might be worth finding out about.

Anna is lovely but only has an outdoor school and when I went there it was completely flooded so may not be much better than yours at the moment :S How about Cindy Llewellyn in Heathfield, I think she's fab and would probably do evenings

If you're thinking dressage, I have lessons with Marion Goggin (tho poor thing had to have an op lately so has been out of action). She's not a big name as such but she has ridden to & competed at GP dressage level and now judges.

She's over in my part of the world and can sometimes do evenings if local.

I don't know if Angie Whittington still teaches much but if she does and if she is still living in Rotherfield i think they may have an indoor school as well...

Lots of if's i know lol!

Another 'maybe' is Ally Remmen at Nutley...used to have a small indoor when George was with her.

Other possibility (but a bit further away) is Elliott Rowe at Isfield. www.rowebuckstud.com

Thanks Rambo - not sure how much teaching Angie does now but might be worth giving her a bell. She might let me hire the indoor if only to school by myself.

Will have a look into the others.
