Training exercises

Hi,
I’ve got a horse that hasn’t been schooled much in his life and he’s slowly being brought into it. so far he’s got brilliant impulsion and responds great to my leg and voice, although he lacks in balance and straightness. Is there any exercises we can do to get him more balanced or straight?

You've got good building blocks if the horse is already forwards

People write full books on how to straighten a horse - not something we can describe in full on a thread but the exercises in the virtual clinics threads as milliepops has mentioned should help to give you a couple of ideas - a new one will be going up on friday
