Training for PTT whilst in full-time work

How did people train for their PTT whilst juggling a full-time job? My ideas so far are:
1) Tag along with my AI when she does PC camps near summer.
2) Book on some sort of intensive training course at a college (courses do exist, but they tend to be spread over several weeks).
3) Butter up my local college's equine staff to sort something out for me bespoke (they only train to Stage II).

I deliver a lot of training at work and have done courses on training delivery, coaching and facilitation with the TAP Training Foundation, so am not new to training, but have not taught riding before.

Contact your local PC and offer to help to gain experience? They're usually good with young/new instructors.. When I was doing my AI I got a job at a local RC post stage 2 and taught on Saturdays. The lady really took me under her wing and helped me.
