My 5yo that i have competed at BE90 level this season (when weather allowed) and regularly competed at novice dressage isn't being the easiest to school at the moment, fighting the contact etc. Got the dentist booked at the start of next month to check teeth are not the issue (last done in may). If the teeth are ok and it is just him going through a stage, i am considering sending him away for a few weeks to further his schooling and was looking for any recommendations in the North West area?
Have heared mixed reports of some dressage trainers in the area, and although i am not opposed to him being 'encouraged' to work properly if necessary he can be quite sensitive to being told off and i don't want him to go to someone who is going to be smack happy as obviously i wont be there all of the time to observe!
Any recommendations or 'no go' s would be appreciated!
Thank you
