Training to be a saddle fitter

Hello,

I was just wondering how people have trained to be a saddle fitter I think it’s 3 years if I’m correct. How do people financially support them selves to do it or is that not possible. I am getting board of my office job but wouldn’t go back to being a groom because the pay is terrible. I have a mortgage so I think it’s highly unlikely I can just change professions but a gal can dream

You don't have to follow the SMS route, it's just an option. Some people have learned by working alongside existing, experienced fitters and taking some of the SMS classes

Me and a friend were saying today there is definitely gaps in the market for good saddlers!
