I am thinking of going for some XC training with Nigel taylor..has anyone been and if so was it useful?? I am in the north west of England so are the any other suggestions for good XC trainers?

BRILLIANT
My coloured horse which we bred had done some dressage but can get tense, he had show jumped up to fox but he would never go near ditches .He was adamant about this ,water great but ditches no .We had been to various people but they gave up on him .
We then went on a 2 day course with Nigel. He has so many ditches of every size you can get.Of course Penfold stopped , Nigel said ''I don't care if I have to bring out you r lunch ,dinner and breakfast , that horse is not going anywhere until it goes forward over that small ditch ,15 minutes later he gave in , and jumped ditch after ditch. Next day , it took 5 minutes and he then jumped lots more ditches and trakeners, which were lowered then highered .Since then he has no problems, he got placed at intro champs and went for a quick refresher with Nigel before his first novice at Gatcombe [ which I have previously posted a video of] and flew round there .
I really rate Nigel and his facilities .Lunch was great as well.

My friend, who is a real nervous rider, has just come back from her second lesson with him today and she is beaming!! She finds him a real confidence giver and he has her jumping bigger already

their facilties are 2nd to none and he def knowns his stuff even tho he doesnt say much. He will speak when necessary which is nice he lets you get on with it and then works you through it.
