Still can’t believe this Olympic flag drama. If it gets overturned after the event it will be very bad! Can’t help but think it’s been done in the favour of the French! Grrrr!!
I totally agree - I feel very angry about it!Still can’t believe this Olympic flag drama. If it gets overturned after the event it will be very bad! Can’t help but think it’s been done in the favour of the French! Grrrr!!
She clearly broke the rules, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it was obvious what had happened on that occasion. Why it went back and forth for so long I'll never understand. This reminds me of Bettina Hoy in Athens. That went all the way to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Bettina, because the clock was reset to 0 after she went through the start the first time. She clearly broke the rules, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it was obvious what had happened on that occasion. Why it went back and forth for so long I'll never understand.
I've seen a photo of Ros and I cannot see how it can be claimed that Graffalo didn't clear inside the flag. Lots of flags went flying yesterday, I'm wondering how many of those got penalties.
I didn't mean the situation, more the controversy - appeals, counter appeals etc. Thankfully, it's irrelevant from a team perspective and she'd probably be out of contention individually even without the 15 but the principle is still important. She clearly broke the rules, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it was obvious what had happened on that occasion. Why it went back and forth for so long I'll never understand.

No because her dressage was 27.4 and Laura’s score was less than that and she got bronzeWould Ros have had a chance of a medal without the 15 points?
