Pics, costs , Ideas ...Basically anyone that has done this , Especially those that have gone DIY and done all the work themselves .

Hubbie sold a large transit/box type van to a man up the road that wanted something large enough to store bits and pieces while he was building his house, The engine of the van was always grand and well at the time hubbie just wanted rid of it , Sooooo anyhooos ....Said man is wanting rid of the van the house is now up and they are moving in and no longer need the van, He has stopped with hubbie just last week and said that if he wanted the van he could take it with him

Hello

We recently bought a ford transit convert. I will say that its easy to drive as its small, but its not a very good ride for the horses as they are often very high off the ground.

Dreadful things to drive and dreaful things to ride in for the horses...

unless you have 4 sh1tlands!!!!

i think if they are done properly they can be a good alternative. plenty of designs on the internet, pm me if you need some sites to look at! just make sure the headroom is ok, plus you need to be careful with reinforcement. one of our refuses to travel on the 7.5tonne but is fine on the transit types! no idea why...
