I am taking my horse to a camp for two nights in the summer and I am looking for transport. I don't have a trailer or horsebox although I can drive but I don't know if I would feel comfortable as it is a while away. Does anyone know of a way I could transport my horse with ease? Any suggestions would be great :)

Exciting!
What area of the country are you in? If you're anywhere near me I could recommend a couple. There are a lot of companies about who either let you hire their horseboxes for self drive for a few days, or others who would drop you off / pick you back up - these are usually trailers or 3.5t horseboxes. If your horse hasn't travelled in a 3.5t before it may be worth hiring one prior to your trip, just to make sure that your horse is comfortable in one - though most do travel well facing backwards once they've got used to it.
If you're on facebook it may be worth joining local horse groups & asking for transport company recommendations in your area - word of mouth is great! It may be worth looking here too: http://www.findhorsetransport.org/

Thank you starryeyed this is really useful. I'm based in Hertfordshire, my horse has traveled in pretty much all types of transport as he has been competing for years so that isn't a problem. :)
