Transport/passport nightmares...

going to show tommorow... passport has walked off. looked everywhere for it, but cannot find it, so its either been nicked or I have left it somewhere.

Fortunatly, I have a copy of it, so i assume I will be ok to use that until I get a replacement,

Secondly, when I get my replacement, is the vet able to backdate the vaccinations, as I am due to go BE in a couple of weeks, and obviously need that for vaccination records etc.

If the vet did the vacc on the right date, and put it on his records he can sign the passport at a later date having checked with his records. The date on the passport MUST be the day the vaccs were given. This would only happen if the vet knew the horse so could positively identify it as the correct one.

Backdating a passport as in vacc on 7th and putting 5th in the passport is an offence and vets have been disciplined for it.
