Transporting horses to America

Hello

I am moving to the US early next year and my partner and I want to take our 2 horses with us. We have had a quote from a transport company and it is obviously very pricey!
Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for companies or ways to lower the price a little?
I am actually moving to Kentucky and I know that race horses are being travelled there regularly from Europe and it could be massively cheaper if we could piggy-back on one of those trips but I don't know where to get those contacts to make that possible.

Any tips would be massively appreciated!

Have you contacted Pedens or IRT both regularly fly horses.

Pedens flew my horse from the US to Ireland, it was a shared pallet with TB yearlings from the Kentucky sales and was cheaper because of that. You may have to wait until the sales are on to get the best price.
