If someone is transporting a horse in a trailer that hasn't got the bit on their license that legally allows them to would the horse insurance be invalid if they were in an accident and the horse injured?

I realise the car insurance would be invalid for the car & trailer but what about the horse insurance? Would that be affected?

Every insurance will be invalid.

The driver will be prosecuted by the police and could potentially lose their licence altogether.

This in turn invalidates all insurances-should your horse be injured and you KNOWINGLY allowed your horse to be transported by this person you are also in breach of your insurance!

If it is you.... DONT DO IT! IT IS A BLOODY SUPID THING TO DO - JUST GO AND PASS THE TEST!

IF it is a friend TELL THEM NOT TO DO IT!

You, them or whoever you are talking about are breaking the law! If whever it is kills someone because of their studidity and selfishness then whoever it is deserves to pay hansomely for the rest of their lives!

It would invalidate all relevant insurances. Consider that also means the third party insurance, meaning if the person involved hit someone they could be liable for thousands or even millions of pounds.

Of all the insurances to be worried about - the Horse insurance would be the least concern. You (or whoever this is about) could be sued for thousands / millions if an accident affected someone else and you/whoever were to blame. NOT worth the risk. I can't believe anyone would consider it. It's the same as driving without a licence and/or insurance. It's totally illegal.
