All very hypothetical and up in the air right now BUT what’s the latest you’d transport a broodmare (in foal) on a 400 mile journey?

Conversely, what’s the earliest you’d do that journey with a foal at foot?

Based on both being well and healthy, too many variable otherwise!

Thanks

Every single year international TB breeders import pregnant broodmares from Kentucky. Keeneland bloodstock sale starts mid of November and finishes end of November.
Breeding(mating) season starts in mid of Feb. So a lot of 9-10 months pregnant broodmares spend 12-15 hours on the airplane.
