travel and working on a yard in NZ or Australia?

Hi,

Does anyone know of any places that take on people to work for them on a yard in return for stay and a small wage in Australia or New Zealand? I would love to travel to either.

I am thinking of travelling from january time for 4-5 months and although I have been on all the gap year sites, if anyone could recommend anyone/anywhere that would be great!

I am willing to work hard, would love the experience whether its on an eventing yard or on a ranch!

Sounds like a great plan, I'm sure you'll have an amazing time!
It might be worth doing a search on here as there's been quite a few threads about working holidays, gap years etc. over the last few months and there were quite a few recommendations...can't remember any off the top of my head though unfortunately!

there is a place on magnetic island where you work for your food and lodgings but no pay....

Check the agency ads in H&H jobs, someone does OZ/NZ I'm sure.
