Does anyone have any recommendations for a travel boot for a horse with really thin TB type legs. I have her in some cob size boots but they are still too large, and a little bit short.

TY!

Why does she need travel boots? Cause more problems than they solve IME - if she treads on her own feet when she is on the move over reach boots will be more help, or if she is likey to fall off the side of the ramp, bandages. Travel boots can slide down, get trodden on and cause panics.

I never used to use travel boots then I had a child jump out in front of me, had to do an emergency stop and the horse cut its legs. Since then I've worn boots as you can not control other road/pavement users. I've not had a problem with boots before, just this horse has thin legs.

Best way to describe the polly boots is that they do up like a brushing boot. They don't wrap round like a bandage or anything, they're long enough to simply wrap around the leg once and Velcro on the side like a boot. Hope that explains it!

When Aldi do their horse stuff (or maybe it was lidl, not sure) they do some travel boots which are actually pretty good and decent for skinnier legs.

I use poly pad travel boots on my stick leg TB,everything else just slipped down. I bought them super cheap from eBay with the idea that more Velcro could be seen on if they weren't tight enough, however they fit perfectly & never slip,so didn't need to adjust them at all.

Michamoo what size do you have for your 15.2?

OP sorry to hijack your post but i have same problem with a skinny legged tb. Usually bandage but after scraping all her hock on way to show i want something with more protection. Previous owners said she wasnt keen on the big stiff travel boots.
