Just wondering what travel boots you all use, im looking for a 'soft' pair, the ones that aren’t restrictive and hard not too expensive but something half decent!

I have MTs, although I like them for what they are, I would say they are structured and not very ergonomic. I hate travel boots with a passion really, if I were a horse I'd hate wearing them too..

The nicest pair I have are from LIDL - waffle inner and protective and not too stiff. They were also £6.99, but you have to wait for them to be in!

MT and other "moon boots" are just too stiff and fall down, and the horses seem to hate them

If you're looking for soft ones then polypads or polly products are the way to go: the polly products ones are in Rideaway for less than 33 quid. The large ones say they're for a 15hh and bigger, but they are mahoosive. Polypads do a leg protector or a travel boot, the leg protector is v expensive.

Another vote for Mark Todd's too. I got mine when they first came out years ago. The same set are still going strong despite being washed several times a year.

I travel my arab all over the country in them, journey's taking up to 6 hours and he's never objected.

If it is really hot they can get a little sweaty under neath but this is rare.

They have never fallen down or moved despite his tendancy to jump off the top of the ramp!

I use the poll product ones and have done for years. They stay up, and don't annoy the horses.

My friend has Lidl ones and they are great too.

i have the LIDL ones and they are spot on, dont move, not too big and my horse can still walk in them without resorting to Ministry of Funny Walks style goose stepping!

Only problem is getting them...

I have horse wear ones and some soft padded ones but horse hates them she is travelled in brushing boots and knee boots. Won't load if she has travel boots on.
