Travel cot hay feeders

Seem to be so popular at the moment!
Is it just me, or are they a really stupid dangerous idea?
I just have visions of a hoof going through the sides (which are only flimsy netting) then you have a metal pole, plastic and fabric box attached to your horses leg.
There’s just so much I can see wrong with putting an item like this in a field with horses ?‍
Yet they are popping up everywhere

Totally agree. They’ve been around for a few years now but I can’t think of anything more dangerous it’s light enough that they can move and imagine if they put a foot through it!

Makes me cringe! I’m trying to track down one of the plastic pallet boxes Auslander found. They look amazing. I put a post on fb, specifically stated no travel cots... yet they are still every other suggestion!
