Am travelling H on friday, I always use a travel rug, but do you think he would be more comfy without one the way this weather is at the mo ??

We are going round some localish woods to ride for about 3-4 hours.

If he is hot and sweaty when finished riding will he be ok if I dont have something e.g. sweat rug/thermatex to throw over him and just walk round, which I normally have no choice anyway as he never stands still !!!

if rug - which one - original thermatex or this sweat thing I bout, smart one with filled in on back and then sides are fine mesh !!!!????

I dont use a rug at all in this weather. They tend to get quite hot travelling. In the winter I only use a thin travel rug when usually he would wear a heavyweight stable rug as he would be far too hot if I travelled him in it.

I would go with nothing but if you really want him to wear a rug then I would go with the thermatex as it should keep the temp regulated better than the 'sweat thing'
