Ok lab puppy is 9weeks old. Currently comes on 50% of my journeys to get used to traveling. He sleeps most of the journey after first 5mins of whining! He is on footwell of my corsa so he can see me. Not been sick since first journey so positive. :)
He obviously can't travel in footwell once he is bigger, so i think for ease i want him in the boot. Going to try him in half my boot using a box to block the other half.
Problem is OH has a astra van so at moment in footwell but when he has to go in boot not sure how we can travel him safely in the back of the van as can't really secure a crate. Should we put his vet bed on the rubber non slip mat and secure his harness to the grill between back and front of van? Or any other suggestions?

What we do with Pip when she travels in the back of daughters bf van is in a crate which is secured to the back of the seat with those rubbery thingamebobs with hooks on both ends. Sorry I cant think what they are called for the life of me but they stretch, Im sure you know what I mean from the description.:D

thats a good idea! think that is prob the way forward!! i know what you mean bungie things like wlakers/climber use! My OH is into bikes so will prob rig something up with inner tubes like his dad does to keep bikes in there van!!
