Going to a Halloween fun show today :)

Forecast was heavy heavy rain overnight and I said if I woke up to it pelting off the windows we wouldn't go. Anyway everything seems quiet and rains only light. Now, going to travel my boy in a rainsheet anyway, I have an old trailer and where everyone else has the modernisation of 2 back 'top' doors I only have 1 big one. Would you shut it over or leave it off?

We don't even have a top door at the back, we have a waterproof fabric-ey flap that you roll up (dark ages - old rice trailer, lol). We always have it up, let's the light and fresh air in, as my girl sweats buckets when travelling, like she knows she's going to a party. When you're travelling forwards the rain can't get in the back anyway, so I'd leave it open if I were you, especially as he's wearing a rainsheet he might get a bit warm if there's no air flow round him. x

I agree, definitely leave it open, because he might get quite warm in the rainsheet as they are not usually that breathable
