Travelling my new horse?

I'm getting my new horse on Friday and will be travelling for 3 and a half hours. Would you stop? Should I travel with a haynet?

yes I would stop and check offer water (take some from the sellers place) at about halfway yes a hay net too with the hay he is used to...

I wouldn't stop other than to check them once or twice - otherwise you make the journey even longer... Definately travel them with a haynet (large for that journey) and I usually tip a bucket of water over the hay to ensure they get water during the journey (many wont' drink whilst travelling..)

Thank you I just worry about travelling with a haynet after my last horse got choke while travelling, might not be related but make me worry
