Travelling to badminton

Right, I'm being a bit special! Want to go badminton XC day. I've done it before from Warwickshire via back routes so mainly A46, all I can remember was how long it took...... So what's the best way to go on motorways....... I'm coming from Leamington Spa.

Also I'm guessing it's well signposted from motorway once you're near, or I'll just follow the traffic jam and 4x4's.

I know I'm being a bit organised but was just pondering on it

Wouldn't it be easier to do A roads through Stow on the Wold and then Cirencester rather than motorways? Motorway just seems a bit out of the way :/

From Leam I would go on the Fosse A429 to Cirencester then A433 to Badminton.
Motorway is much longer distance but you need to follow M40/M42 to M5 to j15 then M4 east to j18.
