Treats for clicker training?

I'm getting bored of julienning carrots.... what treats do you all use?

I used grass nuts, as I was only giving one at a time the horse chomped them up well I just took them out of her dinner ration

I use hay cobs with my fatties

I use grass nuts. A bag is good value at about £9 for 20kg and they aren't a particularly high value reward - which is good as it means the horses don't get over enthusiastic about them.

Pure treats. Possibly a bit big but low sugar and starch. And the Beast is big too so it only seems fair.

We feed Argobs hay cobs, so we just use them as treats too. They're a nice size and easier to handle than single grassnuts, ime.

Aren’t most hay cobs and grass nuts supposed to be soaked? I’ve got a colic surgery survivor who had a blockage caused by a hay cob. Agrobs I do believe :-(

Baileys Fiber plus nuggets are awesome, really cheap for a massive bag and no nasties in them!

I wouldn't feed a bucket feed of them unsoaked. But I find mine chew one grassnut at a time well. I have also put them in treat balls because they get them at a similar rate. But I think you have to know your horse, mine are all pretty slow eaters, I would be more cautious with any that gobble food down.
