Has anyone had a particularly good response from anywhere when selling a trailer?
I have a treble trailer on horsemart at the moment and after 10 days with no response we have reduced the price. The ad is now 5 or so pages in so isn't getting maximum exposure anymore. These things are hard to come by so I was expecting a few calls!
Shall I pay again on horsemart or try somewhere else?
Or am I too impatient?

In Chester, just dropped it to £1550. pm for link or do a search on hm for a pic and more info if interested, don't want to be done for advertising

I sold my Ifor on E-bay and did not get anywhere near what I wanted for it but just needed to sell, I also tried Horsemart and had no response, perhaps the market is a bit quiet at the moment!

Have considered the ebay route but would be gutted if it didn't get close.
Think ''m just too impatient, I'll give it a bit longer and then re-think my strategy

I sold mint earlier this year, did not get as much as I had wanted for it (less than you are asking) but yours may be younger than mine.

I would put it in local tackshops and on as many sites that do free adverts as you can.
Is the floor good as from the questions I was asked I don't think buyers like single layer marine ply floors!
With winter coming you may need to drop the price a bit as I had very few enquiries in autumn/winter but in spring there were suddenly a lot more.

Alot of people don't compete in the winter so they are not in the market for trailers at this time. The market definately slows down for trailer & horses alike at this time of year. They would have to pay to store it over the winter. You will get more interest & phone calls in the spring. Additionally the response may be limited for a 3 horse, you need a real good 4X4 to tow that.

I have sold a trailer through Horsemart before so I would continue there.

Thanks for the input, I will sit tight for a while and then maybe place another ad in a few weeks.
If that fails then it will keep til Spring
