trec?

I did one at Bishop Burton last march (kelly marks winter series) and it was sooo much fun. My mare and me only really hack out but we gave it a go and I was so proud of her. She tried her little heart out.
Mine was an indoor event, so none of the orienteering stage, just the (can't remember the technical names) fast walking, slow cantering stage and the obstacle stage. Which involved walking over a bridge, a little jump, walking over tarpaulin, loading into a trailer, weaving through poles, picking up a cup and replacing it on top of a pole, riding down a narrow corridoor of poles and reining back. You get up to 10 marks for each obstacle but you can miss them out completely if you don't want to go them, you just score zero for that obstacle.
Only problem I found is that there is not many "local" places to do Trec. If you live ooop north then this website might help...

i second that chickeninabun, I live on the Isle of Wight. We have one a year and that particular one has only been run twice, last year and this year! I pray it continues as I had such fun doing it!
