So I bought a pair of Tredstep Donatello riding boots at the end of November which I paid a lot for but I though seen as though i ride every day and compete regularly they would be a good investment but I have had nothing but problems with them.
The zips literally wont stay up. By the time I've done a 20m circle in trot the zip has slipped all the way down to the bottom. I am really not happy. I have been arguing with the shop that I purchased them from and also Tredstep but with little luck. Tredstep sent me some new zips which I would have to pay to have fitted ... Which was something at least... Only every single cobblers I took them to refused to do them due to them being such expensive riding boots.
One cobbler said he would but it would be £40 a boot!!!! And he also said they would pretty much be ruined when they had been finished as they wouldn't hold their own shape.
So I have gone back to ringing the shop.
Has anyone had any similar problems. These are my first pair of Tredstep boots and although they look gorgeous and they are super comfy (when they stay zipped up) I'm beginning to wish I had just got a pair of blooming Ariats again!
