Treehouse Hat Silk Sizing? Help Please!!

I'm ordering the Treehouse Hat Silk, and I'm torn between sizing.

I have a Charles Owen Pro II in a size 55cm.

The size guide says Medium - 51cm - 55/56cm
Large is - 56cm - 58/59cm

I'm sick of my current silk flying off! It's the CO one that came with the hat.

I want it to be able to hook under the back of the hat and as silk doesn't stretch would the large be better?

I'm about to order but I'm now undecided on size!

Is it an elasticated one or one with ties? Elasticated Al sizes up, but with the ties she sizes down!

I'm going for elastic rather than ties. Don't want it to look too baggy, but don't want to be forcing it to stay on either!

Would you say the size up then?

I think so, otherwise they ping off the back.

I would personally go for the large. I was in between sizes and went for the one up and it fits perfectly... It definitely would have just pinged off had I got the smaller size.

Hate it when my silk comes off as my skull is gold! I look like a big gold egg!
