Unfortunately I bought a beautiful and horribly expensive Symmonds saddle 2 years ago - fitted correctly etc. And now it doesn't fit and my poor boy is sore from it.
I want an excellent treeless saddle that will contour to him nicely, it must be rock steady ( non slip) as I have to mount from the floor. And must be suitable for jumping as well as flag/hacking.
I would be looking for something that was £500 or less - Solutions are completely out of my price range.
Any recommendations much appreciated, and has anyone had any experience with the acavallo evo treeless saddle?
Thanks, CC

I use Heather Moffett saddles or the Treefree saddles. Treefree have recently brought a GP saddle but I haven't tried it yet. I have a round Highland and nothing slips on him.

I will say that just because the Symonds didn't work doesn't mean you can't get a flatter treed saddle to work, if that is your preference. Connies need a nice flat tree, not too wide in the seat and pommel/twist, but I see them fitted with trees that are too wide across the top, or even more often too curvy, and this causes instability and the problems you've run into.
