My saddle fitter has virtually admitted defeat in trying to find a saddle to fit my cob. He is a typical flat-backed, wide cob BUT he has high, thoroughbred type withers! We have tried most saddle makes but none fit, or can be adjusted to fit. We have now decided that a treeless saddle may be the way forward and she suggested Torsion or Barefoot saddles. My budget will only stretch to a secondhand Torsion though I could get a new Barefoot saddle.
Does anyone have either of these saddles and can tell me any pros and cons? Or can anyone recommend any other brands? I have a budget of 600/700 pounds.
