Treeless saddles - what brands?

Can people just throw brand names at me please? I saw one advertised a few weeks ago with supposedly the narrowest twist yet, which is my main issue with treeless saddles! I have a narrow pelvis (on top of being pretty small anyway) and some issues with my hips, so really can't have a saddle that's too wide through the twist. Can NOT remember which make it was though! :o

Reason for searching? Pony seems to have outgrown his saddle. In a year. He's now 7 but I don't understand his shape one bit - the narrowest thing I've ever seen and already in a wide saddle!? Come to the conclusion that he's actually square. :rolleyes: Always been drawn to treeless, and given that I really, really can't afford to constantly buy new saddles/have more than one...

So, given that, I will also be on the look out for a second-hand dressage-type treeless, approx 17". Will want to try it though (do plan to try one before I buy!)

I've tried the following:

Barefoot (cheyenne)
Torsion
Ghost
Heather Moffett

The sensation's always look nice as do the Dream Saddles
 
I've tried the Vogue (Heather Moffett) with one of her saddle fitter so got to try the different pad combos. The saddle did not suit my mare because too long, she did not like that there was not enough spinal clearance and the saddle kept slidding backward.

I'm currently using a Startrekk dressage (old version with velcro panels). I love it and it is a short saddle so suits my mare (high withered and short back with big shoulders). The only drawback is that the panels are not super large and since I'm not really lightweight, I wonder if my mare would go better with the newer version (wool stuffed panels).

Interesting, especially as my boy sounds like he may be built quite similarly to your mare (he's hardly got 'big' shoulders but I guess they're big in relation to him in a way?) but I tend to find that his current saddle is pulled forward, less so with the new girth, as he also has a forward girth groove, but still. Thanks for the info :)

I had a heather moffet dressage (not a vogue but the one before) and i loved it. It didn't suit my new mare as her back was a shaped before it started to build so i'm now using saddle company saddles which suit her really well as she is changing shape so much atm.

Problem with my heather moffett was that in the summer when the weather was warm the saddle was so soft and so lovely on the horses back and to sit in but in the cold weather (or just normal winter conditions) the saddle was rock hard and did not soften even after a good half an hours sitting in it. I don't know whether the Vogue works with the same materials but if you haven't got somewhere warm and cosy to store it i would definitely take that into consideration if it does use memory foam in it. :)
